Was replacing a copy that had been damaged. Should have looked more closely at the illustration as it does not state in the description that this is a HC pop-up. But the book is amazing as always...one of my faves!
Great book. big fan or Lauren Child. Love her view of the world and her artwork is first rate.
I first read this book in college when I was going for elementary education and was in my literacy block. When I was nearing the end of my student teaching in kindergarten, I decided to buy one for my future classroom, and donate one to the classroom where I completed my student teaching. My cooperating teacher, loved it, and the kids really enjoyed when she read it to them. I love collage illustration and Lauren Child is one of my favorite children's authors.
I got this book at the library to read to my grandchildren. They loved it. We checked it out so many times I decided to buy it. It's one book that is a classic in our family. We love it
This is one of the most fun books you'll find to read to (or with) your children. My 3-year-old daughter loves it! Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Book is totally engrossing. It is probably the closest thing to "full-contact-reading", because the reader must open "hidden" pages to find a royal party, must help the main character escape through a hole in the page, and must flip the book upside down and back up again to read certain parts. Besides being entertaining, there's a great message in the book that every librarian (or bibliophile) would love... Have some fun with this one!

This is our family's favorite children's book. The illustrations are amazing. After checking this book out from the library at least 15 times, we were thrilled to find a copy on . The book arrived very quickly and in great condition. This version is not the American version we were used to, but I think that the few differences in the British version make it even more charming of to read. I cannot recommend this book enough.
